Secondary Winter Homecoming Dance

By Anastasiya (Stacy) Zamula

Last Friday, December 7th, KIS Secondary students had a winter homecoming dance. Many students came to enjoy the night with their peers and dressed up in black and pink. A good number of students had dates to switch the colors, so many had the chance to choose what colors they would want to wear. Hours passed quickly and by the time the dance was over most people didn't want to leave, asking the DJ for the last song. This evening brought great memories for everyone who was there. Dancing revealed talent, such as Tim Roby shocked everyone with his dancing skills. Karaoke brought everyone singing together, and fire works was a great way to finish the night. New students had the opportunity to meet new friends, and everyone who was there became one big family.

Events like this are a great chance to make the KIS student body stronger and closer to each other. No one is left out or ever regrets that they came. For those who didn't make it to the dance, you should join the next time because events like this shouldn't be missed. The great fun and unforgettable memories come with it.

We are thankful to our STUCO for making such events and hopefully we will have countless evenings like Winter Homecoming Dance ahead of us.
