Additions to the KIS Family

By Anastasiya Zamula

Kyiv International School is a second home for many of our staff, students, and parents. Since we spend so much time in school, surrounding people become a family to us. The relationships that are built at the school are important and some of them will last for a lifetime. As a student at KIS, I have an opportunity to meet people from all over the world and form bonds with people that will always be there for me even after I graduate. Being part of the KIS community helps one to change and grow into a global individual. From a student's point of view, there are great friends here at KIS that always support you and make a day seem better, teachers who guide and help, staff that makes our school more organized and safer, and parents who stimulate their children towards higher achievements. Every part of the KIS community is essential for the school's success.

Since the KIS community holds tightly together, everyone is happy when it grows. Families of students and teachers increase and more family members enter each year. There have been recent additions within families of KIS teachers. We would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Thornton with a new baby girl, Lola, born on October 13th as well as Mr. and Mrs. Blaho on having a third boy David, born on January 17th. The KIS community is always joyful about the new members that hopefully will keep on coming.
